experience: montmartre

i spent friday night at montmartre!

montmartre is a large hill in northern paris [the 18th arrondissement]. on top of the hill is the basilica of the sacré coeur. just below the basilica is a huge green hill where dozens and dozens of people camp out to look at the stunning view of paris below. we could literally see almost the ENTIRE city, a view i certainly won't be forgetting anytime soon. =]
